2010 Pagani Zonda Tricolore

Horacio Pagani unveiled his latest masterpiece, the 2010 Pagani Zonda Tricolore, as a tribute to this nine-plus-one demonstration team of the Italian Air Force. The team is based at Rivolto Air Force Base in the province of Udine. They will be celebrating their 50th anniversary in September 11 and 12 of 2010.
This exquisite piece of work is powered by a Mercedes Benz AMG 7.3-liter V-12 engine that delivers 670 horsepower and has a torque of 780 Nm. Pagani spared no expense in building the car. The body is mostly built of titanium, carbon fiber and magnesium, and is painted navy blue with red, green and white stripes running down the hood. It also boasts of a six-speed sequential gearbox by Cima which is robotized by Automac engineering, and carbo-ceramic self-ventilated brakes by Brembo. The 2010 Pagani Zonda Tricolore’s wheels and interior are both an impressive sight, with the former painted bright gold and the latter a cool green.
With the tremendous amount of power packed in this beautiful car, Horacio Pagani says that his masterpiece can move from 0 to 100 km in about 3.4 seconds and 0 to 200 km in approximately 9.6.

2011 Pagani Huayra

The Pagani legacy has been re-defined by its latest offering, the 2011 Pagani Huayra (pronounced why-eera).

In a world dominated by legendary vehicles such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Bugatti, and Porsche, the name Pagani may seem obscure. But for connoisseurs who appreciate revolutionary designs and heart-stopping performance from a supercar then Pagani certainly belongs to the top of the supercars hierarchy.
History
There is no doubt that Zonda is the model that made Pagani into the company that it is today. Car enthusiasts and newsmen from around the world hailed its aggressive and never-seen-before aerodynamic design. It was so successful that it gave birth to rarities like the Cinque and the Zonda F.
All that hoopla is nothing compared to the groundbreaking entrance of the Huayra, as some say that while the Zonda was evolutionary, the Huayra is revolutionary.
Just like the Zonda, the Huayra is also named after a South American wind. So it is not surprising that aerodynamics play a key role in the Huayra’s design and engineering. Yes, the Huayra will replace the remarkable Zonda and we will see why the Huayra is deserving of all the hype.
Performance
Pagani partnered with the engine gods at Mercedes Benz AMG in building the Huayra’s unique twin turbocharged 6.0L V12 engine. The result is a peak output of 700hp at a low 5,000 rpm generating a behemoth 811 lb-ft torque at just 3,500 rpm.
That burst of power comes careening to the rear wheels through an X-trac seven-speed sequential transmission while still maintaining a pollution-friendly carbon emission. This makes the Huayra Euro 5 compliant.
Providing stopping power to all that raging speed are special rear air brakes made from high-tech carbon-titanium material.
Interior & Exterior
The Pagani Huayra has a carbon-titanium shell making for a light supercar at in the vicinity of 2700 pounds.
Being a true blue Zonda offspring, Huayra still features gull-wing doors as those found in the Mercedes SLS. But unlike the Zonda, the cumbersome wing at the rear is taken out and the rectangular horizontal tail lights have been taken down in favor of circular tail lights positioned at a higher level. Huayra now also features different grilles.
Despite being built like a powerhouse machine, the Huayra does not scrimp on luxury when it comes to its interior amenities. The craftsmanship and materials used in its cabin is simply breath taking. Plush leather, aluminum and glass trimmings, and a multi-function steering wheel that allows the driver to cruise at break neck speeds without taking his hands off the wheel- these luxurious offerings all contribute to making the Huayra look like a masterpiece in every way.
Huayra’s piece de resistance is its high-definition multimedia system that features a central touch screen. This touch screen allows the driver to control all important controls of the car such as audio adjustments, Bluetooth control, and satellite navigation.
More
Only 20 Pagani Huayra’s will be available for sale each year at a cost of $1.3M. It will also be available for sale in the U.S. which is good news as Paganis were previously unavailable in the U.S.

Brief History Of Pagani

Pagani Zonda

Car racing is a game that is popular worldwide, most especially in Europe. That is why Pagani, a race car manufacturing company in Italy, also joined the car racing community by manufacturing magnificent race cars since 1999. Pagani Automobili got its name from its founder Horacio Pagani. For all we know, Horacio showed his love for cars ever since he was still a child. In fact, when he was only 12 years old, he was already able to come up with different car designs that are made up of wood carvings. Now, Pagani Automobili is one of the successful race car manufacturers in the world. They have been proud of their own models such as the Pagani Zonda, which was first engineered by Juan Miguel Fangio, a Formula One Champion. The first set of Pagani Zonda manufactured by the company was originally named after its creator Fangio. But soon after, it was renamed after an air current above Argentina.

Brief History Of Rolls Royce

Rolls-Royce

Two heads are better than one. This saying just states that sometimes things are really easier to do if it is done by partners. Maybe that is why Batman has Robin and Beavis has Butthead. And partnerships aren’t always just for movies and cartoon series. As we all know, this is also much applicable to business. One great example is the Rolls-Royce Limited. Obviously, this business success was a result of a great partnership of engineers Charles Rolls and Henry Royce. Everything started in a meeting over lunch at the Midland Hotel in Manchester on May 4, 1904, arranged by a guy named Henry Edmunds. Due to his effort, he made the two pioneers of the car manufacturing company to come up with an agreement that Rolls would exclusively sell as many cars as Royce could produce. During that time, Rolls was the owner of one of the first car companies. The company was responsible for the production of the Silver Ghost in 1907. The latest luxury cars manufactured by Roll-Royce are the Phantom and Ghost.

Top 10 Exotic Car Makers

1. Ferrari - the spirit of Ferrari began with Enzo Ferrari who was an advent racer. The foundation of Ferrari marked the start of a burst of a frenetic sporting activity. This spurred the creation of powerful, exotic cars that are characteristic of Ferrari today. Because the visions behind Ferrari were one of the first innovators of exotic supercars, it deserves #1 for Best Exotic Car Maker.
Pictures Above: Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari 599 GTB, Ferrari California, Ferrari 459 Italia, Ferrari 550 Barchetta Pininfarina, Ferrari F430
2. Lamborghini - the founder of Lamborghini made his name building farm equipment. He owned a Ferrari but noticed that he had to keep replacing the clutch. To his surprise, his own farm equipment clutches were better replacements. Thus, the beginning of the rivalry between Ferrari and Lamborghini was born. The spirit of competition spurred continual innovation over the years, bringing ever-improved exotic cars every year. However, the power of the original idea belongs to Ferrari. As #2, Lamborghini is only behind Ferrari in the popularity of its innovations.

3. Bugatti - a 21st century “harmony of design and technology.” The heritage of Ettore Bugatti is the heart of impressive technical design and exterior beauty. This can be seen in Bugatti’s signature supercar, the exotic Veyron. Ettore Bugatti sometimes made technical compromises for the sake of aesthetic integrity. This is a very gutsy vision of exotic cars, one which can only belong to the #3 contender.

7. Bentley - after a stint of making airplane engines in WWI, Bentley went on to make exotic cars. This venture was short-lived as Bentley was bought out by Rolls-Royce from 1930 to 1982. It was slowly revived as Volkswagen bought Rolls-Royce and Bentley in 1998. VW invested nearly one-billion dollars to get Bentley up and running again. From 2006 onwards Bentley became bent on producing ever-faster exotic sedans. For its strong spirit of endurance, Bentley is tied for #7.
